Jersey Embroiderers Guild Exhibition 2012
While I was in Jersey recently. I came upon a poster advertising the Jersey embroiderers exhibition of work. at the Jersey Museum. I'm always intrigued to see what other groups and branches do, so I went along. Unlike our one-day exhibition in July, this was in place for a few weeks, so the exhibits were all carefully mounted and framed for display, and no-one from the guild was there to congratulate on the lovely work. Here are some of the exhibits.....

I also got to see the Occupation Tapestry on display at the Maritime Museum. Pictures of this are available online, so I won't upload them all, but here are a few. What a project!
There are twelve scenes in all, each made by one of the parishes in Jersey, depicting life under occupation in WW11
