April............Janet Browne
We were delighted to welcome Janet Browne to our April meeting, held in the rather smart surroundings of the Skiddaw Hotel, in the centre of Keswick.
Several of us have admired Janet's work for some time, and her workshop more than lived up to our expectations.
After a short introduction, and explanation of her techniques,
Janet showed us examples of her work, including her trademark maps.
Once we had got to work, we all had some 'tutorial' time with Janet, to discuss our own projects.
This is mainly a machine technique, and requires a certain amount of forward planning, to layer the images, and work in reverse!
